New Committee Buckling Down to Budget Review

Tuesday's meeting of the Budget Advisory and financial Planning committee is open to the public but will not be televised

Piedmont's new Budget Advisory and Financial Planning Committee will begin its serious study of the city's fiscal issues when it meets for the second time on Tuesday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center, 403 Highland Ave.

Committee members will discuss the draft multi-year projections of General Fund revenues and expenditures. They will also review pension cost projections for miscellaneous and public safety employee PERS plans and actuarial valuation of the City of Piedmont retiree health care plan.

They will also decide on a schedule for future meetings. The committee met last week.

The meeting is open to the public, but it will not be broadcast on KCOM-TV or available on online video. The meeting agenda is attached above.
