Nonstop Flights Oakland to London: $299

OAKLAND, CA - Oakland International Airport is hosting flights to London's Gatwick Airport starting today via Norwegian Air, according to airport officials.

Norwegian is offering flights three times a week from Oakland, the airport's first nonstop flights to the United Kingdom and the only nonstop flight to Gatwick from the Bay Area.

Gatwick Airport is the U.K.'s second largest airport and government officials are planning to make a decision this summer on whether to expand the airport, according to the airport's official website.

Service from Oakland on Norwegian Air started in 2014 with service to Stockholm, Sweden, and shortly after that to Oslo, Norway.

Fares to Gatwick Airport from Oakland International Airport on norwegian.com/us will start as low as $299, including taxes.
