Oakland Manhunt Ends With 3 Arrests

The armed robbery suspects prompted a manhunt throughout East Oakland.

OAKLAND, CA --Three men have been arrested after an armed robbery Saturday sparked a manhunt for the suspects in East Oakland, police said. According to Oakland police officer Lee Odom, the men are in custody on suspicion of armed robbery and will eventually be taken to Glynn Dyer Jail in Oakland.

Earlier, police said the manhunt centered around the areas of Burckhalter, Altamont and Sunnymere avenues near Hillmont Drive. Residents in the area were advised to the stay in their homes and report any suspicious
people to police.
