OAKLAND, CA — A man was shot in east Oakland Wednesdy afternoon and a suspect is in custody, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 88th Avenue and E Street at 3:47 p.m. The victim was found nearby at 73rd Avenue and International Boulevard with a gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to a hospital
and is in stable condition, police said.
Investigators have a male suspect in custody.
