Oakland Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured

OAKLAND, CA — A male shooting victim died and a second was taken to a hospital after someone opened fire on them late Friday night in Oakland, police said today.

The shooting occurred at about 11:30 p.m. in the 7700 block of MacArthur Boulevard near Parker Elementary School and the Eastmont Town Center.

The survivor was in stable condition, police said.

Officers said they do not know how many suspects there are. All were still at-large as of this morning.
