Police Arrest Two Women Fleeing Scene of Residential Burglary
The alleged burglary was reported on Dec. 23 in the 5400 block of Cole Street.
Two women were arrested on suspicion of residential burglary in Oakland two days before Christmas, according to police. Around 11:10 a.m. Dec. 23, officers were dispatched to an address in the 5400 block of Cole Street on a report of a burglary in progress.
Witnesses pointed out a fleeing vehicle for arriving officers, who conducted a traffic stop and arrested two women in the vehicle, police said. Property stolen in the burglary was found in the vehicle, according to police, and property linked to other burglaries was also located.
