Police ID Man Shot Dead Near Linden and 24th Streets
The 35 year old was killed Thursday morning.
A man who died shortly after he was shot in West Oakland last Thursday morning has been identified by police as 35-year-old Albert Easley of Oakland.
Police said Easley was shot in the 1000 block of 24th Street, near Linden Street, at about 11:10 a.m. on Thursday and was pronounced dead at a local hospital 90 minutes later.
Oakland police haven’t released any other details about the shooting, such as a motive and a description of suspects.
