Police Investigating Two Shootings in Oakland

Police reported a shooting this morning and another Thursday afternoon in Oakland. Officers received a report at 6:45 a.m. of a shooting in the 2700 block of Market Street. Officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds and he was taken to a hospital, police spokesman Officer Marco Marquez said. The victim was conscious and breathing, Marquez said. Police did not know the victim’s current condition.

Another shooting took place at 4:09 p.m. in the 900 block of 69th Avenue where officers found a male victim with gunshot wounds, Marquez said. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition.
