Update: Northbound I-880 Reopens Following Fatal Accident
The accident happened around 5:30 Sunday morning.
OAKLAND, CA - The California Highway Patrol reports that all lanes of northbound Interstate 880 have reopened in Oakland. A fatal accident completely blocked northbound traffic for a short time Sunday morning.
All residual traffic has cleared.
The accident happened at the 5th Street on ramp.
