Camp Description:
Top Flight Baseball Spring Break Position-Skills Camp allows athletes to dive deeper into the position of their choice. Catchers, pitchers and infielders train intensely into the fundamentals and strategies of their position only. Clinic also includes advanced offensive training as well as baseball-specific speed/strength/agility training.
Top Flight Baseball presents the opportunity to learn from East Bay premiere instructors with professional and college experience both playing and coaching. Athletes work through a complete hour of defensive training, specific to their position. For infielders, the challenge of working advanced double play feeds and turns, slow rollers (throwing on the run), reverse-pivot movements and other more advanced techniques. Catchers train stances, footwork, receiving, blocking, throwing runners out and strategies. Pitchers train through a 4-day throwing program, advanced mechanics, pick-offs, mound presence and P.F.P.s (Pitchers Fielding Practice).
Following Defense, athletes work through an hour of advanced hitting instruction: bat path and direction, execution, hitting for power, right-side hitting, explosive rotation, etc.
To wrap up the workout, athletes put away their gloves and bats to turn their focus on baseball-specific explosive speed/agility training. Using medicine balls, agility ladders and training tools, instructors involve competition to train quick feet and explosive change of direction capabilities. Top Flight Baseball will train your athlete to ENJOY working hard!!
There will also be lots fun baseball specific games to keep the entire week fun and enjoyable!
