Suspect Arrested At Oakland BART Station
The suspect was already on probation when they were arrested.
OAKLAND, CA —A person was arrested for allegedly trying to steal a bike from the Lake Merritt BART station in Oakland Saturday evening, police said Sunday.
Charity Sok, 32, of Oakland, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. for allegedly trying to steal a men's Trek mountain bike from the bike racks at the station.
Sok was arrested on suspicion of attempted theft, possessing burglary tools and violating probation, police said.
