Suspected Burglar Arrested At Oakland BART

Andrew Friedman, 27, of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary.

OAKLAND, CA -- A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary early Sunday morning after a witness saw him breaking into vehicles in the Rockridge BART parking lot, transit police said.

Andrew Friedman, 27, of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary and possession of stolen property around 4:20 a.m. and booked into Santa Rita Jail, according to BART police.

Officers found five vehicles that had been broken into in the parking lot, police said.
