Teenage Boy Fatally Shot Sunday Identified
The shooting occurred in the 900 block of Mandela Parkway at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday
A teenager who was fatally shot near the West Oakland BART station on Sunday afternoon was identified by Oakland police today as Torian Hughes of Oakland. Police said Hughes was shot in the 900 block of Mandela Parkway at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday and was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police haven’t released any information about a suspect or a possible motive in the fatal shooting.
