I last posted on May 29th. So much has happened since then that I have only found time to water my garden. Because the soil preparations were so good when I planted the garden has taken off. It has a lot to do with my home grown worm castings. Unfortunately the original tomato plant has pretty much taken over the entire garden. So this is the weekend to cut back.....and then cut back some more. Expose the onions, the eggplant, the pole beans and somewhere there should be a couple of Mammoth sunflower plants that are ready to poke their shoots above the tomato plants.
I am not a very organized person. This was going to be the year where I install a veggie garden in an organized fashion and keep up with it so that all the plants reach their full potential. I am not off to a very good start. But it can be turned around. It just takes a few minutes of focus. So I will get back to this blog tomorrow when I can brag of all the progress I have made.....or maybe Monday.
