Two Men Shot in East Oakland Sunday: Police

OAKLAND, CA — Two men were shot in East Oakland on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 5600 block of Bancroft Avenue just before 3 p.m., police said.

The officers found two men suffering gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital for treatment in stable condition, police said.

Three suspects were seen fleeing the area in a vehicle. They had not been found as of this morning.

Police provided no description of the suspects and no motive for the shooting.
