Two Suspects Rob Man at Gunpoint Near BART Station

Police are seeking two suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint early this morning in West Oakland, police said. The suspects robbed a man of his cellphone around 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Peralta Street, near the West Oakland BART station.

Two suspects, one armed with a handgun, approached the victim as he walked down the street and demanded that he surrender what he had in his possession, police said. The suspects left after taking his cellphone.

There were no descriptions immediately available of the suspects and no surveillance cameras captured the incident, police said. The suspects were reportedly last seen fleeing on foot north on Peralta Street.
