What's Open, What's Not on Presidents Day
You can shop, ski or drive to San Francisco without a detour through Marin County, but banks and government offices are shut down for the holiday

Monday, Feb. 20: Presidents Day, a federal holiday, and the start of "ski week" for many Piedmont families. Here's a look at what will be open today and what won't.
- City, county, state and federal offices: closed.
- Piedmont Unified School District: schools closed for February recess, Monday, Feb. 20-Friday, Feb. 24.
- Libraries: closed. Oakland branch libraries also closed Tuesday, Feb. 21.
- Banks: closed.
- Retail businesses: most open.
- Bay Bridge: open in both directions; holiday weekend repairs completed ahead of schedule.
- BART: will continue to provide overnight service through 6 a.m. Monday, despite the reopening of the Bay Bridge's westbound upper deck, but will not provide overnight service between 1 and 4 a.m. Tuesday. "Saturday schedule" on Presidents Day.
- Ferries: Additional ferry service will also continue to be offered to Alameda, Oakland and Vallejo through Monday.
- AC Transit: "Sunday service" on Presidents Day.
