Woman Gang Raped Near Oakland Elementary School

OAKLAND, CA — Seven suspects participated in a rape of a woman Friday night in East Oakland, police said.

The rape was reported at 10 p.m. in the 1300 block of 83rd Avenue near New Highland Academy, an elementary school.

Police said the victim was taken to a hospital.

The seven suspected participants are at large.
