At the last Historical Society meeting, we had some preliminary discussions about holding another History Expo. We talked a lot about last year's Expo -- the good, the bad, what we learned, how we'd do things differently, etc.
To help us get a better idea of how successful last year's event was, and how we can make the next one better, I'd like to ask for your help. If you attended the Expo, whether as a local historical society representative or simply a history buff, let us know what you thought in the comments below. Did you like the format? Did you find it informative? What changes would you like to see? Would you be interested in short presentations by guest speakers?
As I mentioned, we're just in the initial brainstorming phase, so any suggestions are welcome. We want you to get as much out of these events as possible, so any ideas about how we can make learning about our local history more engaging and entertaining would be very helpful.
