
When I started this blog, I really didn't want it to turn into one of those whiny, cliche-ridden rants about how hard these workouts are, I can't believe how much pain I'm in, why did I ever agree to do this, yadda, yadda, yadda.
But seriously, I can't move my arms.
My latest workout involved holding 20-pound dumbbells on my shoulders, then jumping up while pushing them over my head. Then, I had to do some sort of gymnastics move on the rings, pulling my knees up to my elbows. I was actually able to do them, and I remember being really impressed with myself at the time.

But life has been an adventure ever since. Even the most rudimentary functions like pulling up my pants have taken on a new dimension. Showering takes twice as long as it used to. I'm glad I don't have much hair, as I can really only toss the shampoo in the general direction of my head.
And for some reason, everything weighs ten times as much as it used to. I can't pick anything up anymore. If I have to reach for something, I pretty much decide it wasn't that important anyway, I can get it later when I'm closer to it.

I'm not even going to go into the difficulties I'm having in the bathroom. This is a family blog, and I have a feeling it wouldn't get past the editor, anyway.
