City Recruiting Commissioners

Hercules is recruiting residents to fill spots on two of the city’s commissions. The City Clerk’s office is accepting applications for two seats on the Planning Commission and three seats on the Community and Library Services Commission has three seats, including one youth commissioner spot.

Hercules High School student Justin Jones currently holds the youth commissioner title.

Planning Commissioners serve two-year terms and Community and Library Services Commissioners serve one-year terms.

Applications for the commissions are available at City Hall, 111 Civic Dr. or through the Commissions section on the website.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 29. Interviews are scheduled for Mar. 21.
