Coroner IDs Richmond Woman Killed in SF Shooting

RICHMOND, CA - A Richmond woman was shot to death in San Francisco's Mission District early Monday morning, according to police.

The victim was shot by a man in a light-colored sedan in the area of 18th and Alabama streets shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, police said.

She has been identified by the San Francisco medical examiner's office as 27-year-old Richmond resident Tiara Williamson.

Williamson was taken to a hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
