Did You Feel It? 2.7 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Near Hercules

A small earthquake was reported this morning in unincorporated Crockett in Contra Costa County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The 2.7-magnitude quake was reported at 11:32 a.m. and was located 1 mile south-southeast of central Crockett and 2 miles west-southwest of Benicia, USGS officials said. The temblor had a depth of 6.7 miles, according to the USGS.
