Pinole residents are invited to a Neighborhood Watch meeting, where they will have the opportunity to organize and to meet fellow residents, Interim Police Chief John Hardester and police staff members.
The meeting includes a presentation about safety near railroad lines. AMTRAK police andOperation Lifesaver will provide information about collisions, deaths and injuries around railroad lines. Operation Lifesaver is a non-profit education program designed to help avoid by pedestrian-train fatalities.
Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion with police department staff.
