Firefighters Bring Early Morning Apartment Fire Under Control
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.

Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire this morning at an apartment building in El Sobrante. At 3:28 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a fire happening at 380 Joan Vista St., according to Fire Marshal Robert Marshall with the Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire coming from an apartment inside a 6-unit building. The fire spread into at least two other apartment buildings, Marshall said. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within about 30 minutes, according to Marshall.
At least three people have been displaced, however, Marshall said there may be more displacements, as they continue to investigate the damage caused by the fire. No injuries have been reported and a cause for the fire has not yet been determined, according to Marshall.
