Five Things: Networking, Flu Clinics and Furloughs

Today's Five Things offers a mixed bag of stuff we thought you'd like to know about for Dec. 15.

1. Make sure you rub elbows and network today at this morning's meeting. There's only one more before meetings are suspended for the New Years holiday.

2. For those parents trying to plan upcoming holiday travel, please note that this Friday is a minimum day for all schools in the West Contra Costa County Unified School District and winter break runs from Dec. 20 to Dec. 31.

3. Pinole Patch is still waiting for you to share your holiday photos. If you've been decorating, take some pics of your ornamentation and upload them on Pinole Patch. We look forward to your contributions.

4. If you need a flu shot, don't forget to head over to San Pablo tomorrow to the Doctors Medical Center to snag one. You'll want to go to the new outpatient center located at 100A Towne Center in San Pablo. A $10 donation is requested but no one will be turned down for inability to pay.

5. It's the middle of the work week. If you've got city government matters to take care of, you better get on it because holiday scheduling and furloughs start next week.
