Hercules Man One of Three Arrested After Police Use GPS to Track Suspects

Three suspects who allegedly broke into a Pleasant Hill apartment and held residents at gunpoint Monday night were arrested after officers tracked them down using a GPS signal from one of the stolen items, police said.

Dynamitejones Fauloloa, 18, of San Leandro, Clifford Betson, 19, of Vallejo, and Jahna Maramba, 18, of Hercules, allegedly broke into a unit at the Northridge Apartments at 225 Camelback Road around 11:55 p.m. Monday wearing masks and one of them had a handgun.

After entering the apartment, one suspect brandished the handgun while the others stole electronics, according to police. The suspects then fled the residence without injuring the victims, police said. One of the victims was able to track a stolen item by locating its GPS signal, tracing it to an address in Hercules, according to police.

Pleasant Hill police obtained a search warrant for the Hercules residence and served it Tuesday morning, recovering the stolen items and arresting all three suspects. The trio was booked into county jail on suspicion of robbery and burglary. Each is being held on $495,000 bail.
