Hercules Reports Multiple Burglaries, Including 2 Reported Moments Apart

One arrest has been made - a Hercules man already on parole for burglary.

HERCULES, CA — Two Hercules homes about a mile apart were burglarized within moments of each other Tuesday in seemingly related incidents, according to police.

At about 10:15 a.m., Police received two separate calls about the break-ins by residents who reported that both homes' alarms were activated but neither resident opted to have officers dispatched in response.

At one home, in the 100 block of Farragut Street, a resident returned home to find that someone had broken through a sliding glass door at the back of the house, disconnected the alarm panel and ransacked the home,
according to police.

The suspect or suspects stole cash and Golden State Warriors season tickets.

At the other home, in the 300 block of Falcon Way, a resident returned home and saw someone running from the side of his house.

Once inside, the resident discovered that a back sliding glass door was broken, the alarm was disconnected and the house ransacked. The home's safe, which was left open, had been emptied of its contents, including jewelry and "possibly cash," according to police.

In both cases, officers were able to review video camera footage from nearby homes that showed a sliver Dodge Magnum in each neighborhood prior to the burglaries.

Meanwhile, police report that on Wednesday, a resident came home at 8:50 a.m. and found a suspected burglar in their home in the 2100 block of Pheasant Drive. The homeowner gave police a description of the man.

Officers dispatched to the home spotted the suspect who ran from officers, according to police. He was found hiding in the backyard of a nearby home and detained by officers.

The burglarized homeowner positively identified the suspect, who was arrested for residential burglary and for violating parole.

Police identify the suspect as 20-year-old Travell Warren of Hercules, who was already on parole for residential burglary.

He was booked into the county jail.
