Hercules to Cleanup for Earth Day 2012

Herculeans will have an opportunity to clean and beautify Hercules grounds the day before Earth Day.

Herculeans are encouraged to pick up trash and other debris from yards, sidewalks parks and the rest of the Hercules community for the city's annual Cleanup Day. This year, the cleanup will happen Saturday, April 21 -- the day before Earth Day. Anyone interested in volunteering for the city-hosted cleanup should fill out an application.

As part of the same events, Hercules residents are welcome dump items at Hercules Corp Yard, located at 1000 Sycamore Avenue. Only Hercules residents are allowed to dump items and all will be required to show identification. One vehicle per household (no trailers) will be allowed.
