Identity Theft, Vehicle Burglary, Stolen Vehicles: Pinole Police Reports

Police officers shooed-away panhandlers, responded to loud music and handled thefts. Here's what's going on around town.

PINOLE, CA — Some of your neighbors were behaving badly at the end of July, start of August. They stole stuff from vehicles, stole the vehicles themselves, swiped things from businesses and disturbed the peace. Here's a look at police reports for July 30-Aug 1.

Saturday, July 30, 2016
1:24 AM – A report was taken in the 800 block of 5th Avenue to document a possible parental
child abduction.
4:03 AM – A traffic stop was made near Valero. The driver was cited for driving with a
suspended license.
10:15 AM – A traffic stop was made on Adobe Road near Pinole Valley Road. The driver was
cited for driving with a suspended license and the vehicle was towed.
10:31 AM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.
11:54 AM – A panhandler was reported in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue. They were gone
when officers arrived.
2:08 PM – Officers responded to a report of attempted fraud at Wells Fargo. One subject was
arrested for identity theft, burglary, and possession of stolen property. They were transported to
the Martinez Detention Facility.
3:23 PM – A disturbance was reported at Target. The involved parties were admonished.
4:16 PM – Illegal dumping was reported in the 700 block of Belmont Way.
4:33 PM – A neighbor dispute was reported in the 2400 block of Colusa Street. The involved
parties were admonished.
5:35 PM – Officers located a stolen vehicle in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. Two subjects
were arrested for possession of stolen property. One of the subjects was also arrested for
violation of probation. They were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
5:58 PM – A subject causing a disturbance was reported at Chuck E. Cheese’s. They were
admonished.
6:08 PM – A vehicle burglary was reported near In N Out.
7:14 PM – A hit and run occurred on San Pablo Avenue near Del Monte Drive.
7:35 PM – An intoxicated subject was reported near Pinole Valley Lanes. They were contacted
and picked up by a family member.
8:42 PM – Loud music was reported in the 1700 block of Dalessi Lane. The area was quiet when
officers arrived.
8:55 PM – An assault was reported in the 2500 block of San Pablo Avenue. The responsible
subjects were gone when officers arrived.
9:42 PM – A vehicle accident occurred on Appian Way near Tara Hills Drive.
11:37 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 3500 block of Savage Avenue. The area
was checked and no problems were found.

Sunday, July 31, 2016
1:37 AM – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Sunnyview Drive near Bay View Farm Road. It
was gone when officers arrived.
6:54 AM – A disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of Kilrush Court. The involved parties
were admonished.
8:21 AM – An abandoned vehicle was towed from Rebecca Drive near Sarah Drive.
10:40 AM – A suspicious subject was reported in the 1200 block of Marionola Way. They were
gone when officers arrived.
8:02 PM – A theft occurred at CVS. The suspects fled before officers arrived.
8:47 PM – Paintballs were shot at the window of a business in the 2800 block of Pinole Valley
Road. The responsible subjects were gone when officers arrived.
8:49 PM – A subject was arrested for theft at Target. They were transported to the Martinez
Detention Facility.
9:03 PM – A vehicle accident occurred on Appian Way near Marlesta Road.
9:47 PM – A resident in the 300 block of Wildrose Circle reported someone repeatedly ringing
the doorbell. They were gone when officers arrived.
10:17 PM – A subject was cited for theft at Target.
10:57 PM – Suspicious noises were reported in the 800 block of Alvarez Avenue. The area was
checked and no problems were found.
11:37 PM – Vandalism of a mailbox was reported in the 3400 block of Savage Avenue. The
suspects were located a short distance away. One was cited for driving without a license and the
other was cited for vandalism and released to a parent.

Monday, August 1, 2016
1:29 AM – A noise disturbance was reported at Motel 6. The responsible parties were
admonished.
5:03 AM – Advice was given about a civil matter at Motel 6.
7:55 AM – A burglary was reported at Pinole Valley High School.
9:17 AM – A wallet was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
9:40 AM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported in the 600 block of Pinon Avenue. It was
checked and no problems were found.
10:31 AM – A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
10:43 AM – A subject with a warrant was arrested in the 500 block of Hanley Drive. They were
transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
11:26 AM – A subject with a warrant was arrested in the 1000 block of Alberdan Circle. They
were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
1:10 PM – A vehicle was stolen from the 1500 block of Mann Drive.
2:42 PM – A subject with a warrant was arrested in the 2500 block of Henry Avenue. They were
transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
3:14 PM – A civil standby was provided near Safeway.
3:25 PM – A vehicle accident occurred in the 900 block of 4th Avenue.
4:09 PM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 700 block of Jones Avenue.
6:51 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Quinan Street near San Pablo Avenue. It was
checked and no problems were found.
9:57 PM – A stolen vehicle was located in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
10:29 PM – A vehicle accident occurred on Appian Way near Interstate 80.
10:45 PM – Suspicious vehicle was reported in a vehicle on Henry Avenue near Black Oak
Court. The involved parties were contacted and left the area.
11:31 PM – A suspicious subject was reported in the 2300 block of San Pablo Avenue. They
were gone when officers arrived.
11:43 PM – Loitering subjects were reported in the 2500 block of Rebecca Drive. They were
gone when officers arrived.
