Man Injured by Shattered Glass in Shooting Saturday
Police say the suspect was shooting at a parked car.

A man was injured by shattered glass when someone shot at a parked car in Richmond on Saturday, a police spokeswoman said today.
A suspect walked along a sidewalk in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Saturday and fired at the car, spraying shards of glass into the face of a man sitting inside, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said. The city’s ShotSpotter gunshot detection system picked up seven shots fired in the area and police received at least one report of gunfire, Abetkov said.
Officers arrived on scene to find the man suffering from cuts to his cheek. The shooting suspect was not located and no description was immediately available. No other injuries were reported in the shooting.
