Med-Evac Helicopter Lands on I-80 For Seriously Injured Woman
The crash happened around the noon hour Monday. The interstate was shut down to allow the helicopter to land and take off.

PINOLE, CA - Two occupants of a vehicle that overturned in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 80 around noon Monday were hospitalized, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was first reported at 11:58 a.m. in the highway's eastbound lanes at Pinole Valley Road, CHP Officer Brandon Correia said.
A Mazda driving on the highway lost control and slammed into the center divider, which caused the vehicle to overturn several times before it came to rest on its roof, Correia said.

The man was taken in an ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries considered minor, Correia said.
All lanes were reopened on the highway as of 12:45 p.m.
