Pedestrian Killed On San Pablo Ave. Identified

The 35-year-old died after getting pinned under a semi-truck, officials said.

PINOLE, CA – A pedestrian who died after getting stuck under a semi-truck in Pinole on Monday morning as been identified as 35-year-old Milton Myoung, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's office.

Police responded to the intersection of Appian Way and San Pablo Avenue around 9:50 a.m. on report of a collision involving a pedestrian.

Myoung was trapped underneath the semi-truck and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the subsequent investigation.

The crash closed a section of San Pablo Avenue for roughly six hours.
