Pinole City Manager's Weekly Report

Update on trail project, rainy weather implications for sewage flows.

City Manager Belinda Espinosa's report highlights grant applications to build a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists over railroad tracks on the east end of San Pablo Avenue and a project to widen San Pablo Avenue at Oak Ridge Lane for a sidewalk.

Espinosa also reports that this week's rainstorms overwhelmed the capacity of the Pinole Water Pollution Control Plant, resulting in the release of some polluted wastewater into San Pablo Bay.

The report also includes information about appointments to the committee that will replace the defunct Pinole Redevelopment Agency, a fundraiser for the Pinole Playhouse, an Easter Egg Hunt and more.
