Pinole Fire Crews Respond To Vegetation Fire

PINOLE, CA — Multiple Pinole Fire Department units have responded to a report of a vegetation fire on Castro Ranch Road in Pinole.

The initial report was received at 8:53 p.m., accord to the PulsePoint app.

According to a CHP incident report, a woman reported seeing lightning, and then seeing fire on her property. She reported that grass and trees were on fire.

There have been no reports of injuries. The total acreage burned is unknown at this point.
