Pinole Police Arrest 2 Young Teens For Breaking Into Home
Neither of the teens were from Pinole. They're accused of prowling through yards, breaking into a home and attempted burglary.

PINOLE, CA - Two teens who allegedly broke into a home after prowling through backyards in Pinole on Thursday afternoon were arrested on suspicion of burglary, according to police.
At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of McDonald Drive based on a call from a Pinole resident about a suspect climbing a fence into a neighboring backyard. While en route, officers received reports from a different caller in the area reporting an in-progress burglary at a neighbor’s residence, police said.
Responding officers found two suspects at the scene, one matching the description provided by the first caller. They were detained while police established a perimeter and searched the area, police said.

The officers checked two homes as well as several yards.
Police said evidence indicated the suspects broke into one home and tried to force entry into another.

The pair of suspects, a 13-year-old Vallejo resident and 14-year-old San Pablo resident, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into John A. Davis Juvenile Hall.
This case is still under investigation, police said.
