Pinole Police Conduct DUI Warrant Sweep

PINOLE, CA — Pinole Police officers spent the first day of the month conducting a DUI warrant sweep. The result: 3 outstanding warrant suspects were arrested.

The sweep was conducted thanks to a 2016 Office of Traffic Safety Selected Traffic Enforcement (STEP) Grant. There were eleven outstanding warrant suspects that couldn't be found.

The STEP Grant is a partnership with the California Office of Traffic Safety. Grants are issued in an attempt to reduce traffic deaths, injuries and economic losses.
