Pinole Police Detectives Recover Stolen Truck, Mail, and Other Property
Two people were arrested. They were both already wanted.

PINOLE, CA — Pinole Police Detectives arrested two people last week for possessing drugs and stolen property including a pickup truck, stolen mail, stolen checks, forged checks and stolen debit cards. The names of the suspects were not immediately available.
The suspects were arrested at Motel 6 on Fitzgerald Drive. The detectives noticed a Dodge pickup with damage to the paint. Upon closer inspection, it was determined to be a U-Haul truck that had not been returned in some time. U-Haul reported it stolen directly to the detective who quickly took a report.
The detectives reviewed security footage at the hotel and learned that the couple was in a specific hotel room. While preparing to make contact, the male suspect got inside of the stolen truck for a moment. Officers contacted him and learned he had a warrant for theft and was in possession of forged stolen checks made out to over $3,300. He was arrested.
