Pinole Police Dog Finds Stolen Property

PINOLE, CA — Pinole Police K9 Kaizer tracked down a stolen scooter worth $1,000 last week, according to police.

The scooter had been stolen from Best Buy and then discarded in a field by the suspect, police say.

"Kaizer, with his keen sense of smell, was able to find in short-order greatly reducing the time it would have taken an officer to find the scooter," police report.

There's no word on suspects.
