Pinole Police Seize Stolen Gun, Arrest 2
The loaded, stolen gun was within reach of both the driver and passenger.
PINOLE, CA - Pinole Police arrested two people and seized a loaded, stolen gun during a routine traffic stop Tuesday.
An officer stopped a car for a brake lamp violation. According to police, the driver lied about her name and had no identification. Then, during "a search of the vehicle, officers found a stolen, loaded firearm under the center armrest between the driver and passenger seats."
The also found illegal prescription narcotics in the car.

Officers identified the driver and discovered that she was driving on a suspended license.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
