Pinole Valley Spartans Beat Richmond High

The Pinole Valley High School girls soccer team finished off a perfect record in league with a perfect effort in Thursday night’s championship game.
The Spartans beat Richmond High School 2-0 at Pinole Valley to capture the Tri-County Athletic League title and earn a berth into the prestigious North Coast Section state playoffs. The host Spartans overcame a tough Richmond defense to take the lead midway through the second half before putting in a pair of goals to clinch the victory.
