Police Seeking Man for Alleged Domestic Battery

Police said the suspect kicked in the door and forcibly removed the victim's cellphone as she was attempting to call 911.

HERCULES, CA: Police are looking for a man that allegedly attacked a woman in her home late Thursday night after a verbal argument. Hercules police said officers responded at 10:22 p.m. to the 100 block of Paradise Drive on reports of domestic battery and robbery.

Upon arrival, police said the victim, a 32-year-old woman, told officers the father of her children was over earlier visiting. According to police, when the victim asked the suspect to leave because her children were going to bed, at first he complied, then later returned and demanded to stay.

When the victim refused to let the suspect in, police said he kicked in the door and forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone as she was attempting to call 911. Police said the suspect left in an unknown direction and the victim had multiple scratches on her right hand but declined medical treatment.
