Tax Poll is a Talker
Nearly 90 people have cast their vote in our poll on whether or not to tax the wealthy for the benefit of schools.
There are about 90 votes and 20 comments under our weekend story, "Poll: You OK with More Sales Tax, Income Tax for Wealthy, to Help Schools?"
The majority of voters (78 percent by Monday afternoon) want to raise the income tax on the wealthiest citizens, and about half of those voters also wanted to boost sales taxes.
About 13 percent of voters said, "No raised taxes at all," while five percent wanted only to boost sales tax.
