TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Crash on I-80 Snarls Traffic

The California Highway Patrol reports a major crash on eastbound I-80 at the Pinole Valley Road offramp.

A large passenger bus and a Honda Civic collided. It was initially reported that more vehicles were involved.

Minor injuries have been reported. Five ambulances were sent to the scene before the situation was assessed.

The CHP also reports that two dogs were running on the roadway. Both were safely captured.

The crash is in the cleanup stages, but expect slowing.
