Where do you live? In Hercules.

Why is Pinole a good place for your business? It is a good location being on San Pablo Avenue. It is close to home for me and it's very friendly in Pinole.

What would you like to change about Pinole? With the economy the way that it is, I would like to see more community involvement to get us through these times, especially for the kids.

Where are your favorite places in Pinole? Aside from Blue Sky Sports, I like the creekside trail. It's great for dog walking and you can go from city to rural areas. 

What are your favorite sports to play? I like golf and tennis.

What is the best part of your business? It's the people, my customers. I've been in retail all of my life and the customers are the whole reason I do it. Customers say that Blue Sky is one of the best-kept secrets here for them. They comment that they didn't realize all of what we do here. There is laser engraving, embroidery, wide format digital printing for sports banners, screen printing and engraving for trophies.

We have things for all team sports — football, basketball, softball, baseball, and darts, too. There is a big dart community. We also have the batting cages. There are corporate customers that I have, too. We are an ad specialties source. We can put logos on balls and coffee cups, among other things.
