• 3.8-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Ventura County, Felt Across Santa Barbara and Los Angeles (edhat.com) — A minor 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck just southeast of Piru on Tuesday evening, with weak shaking reported but no damage or injuries. Residents across Ventura County and as far as Santa Barbara and Los Angeles felt the tremor, which triggered USGS reporting and early-warning systems but posed little risk locally.
