• Pittsburg Targeted in Phishing Attack, Investigation and Recovery Effort Recover Majority of Funds (contracosta.news) — Pittsburg officials say a February phishing scam diverted more than $913,000 from a city account, but swift action by Pittsburg police and federal partners recovered most of the money and triggered new cybersecurity safeguards. Investigators traced the attack overseas, and the FBI is now leading the case while the city pursues insurance for remaining losses and tightens financial controls. 
• Pearce, Ponciano, Ryland, Foulger, Zuffa Win at Antioch Speedway (contracosta.news) — Several Pittsburg drivers made their presence felt at Antioch Speedway, with James Thomson, Trent Golden, and Matthew Linde all figuring into Saturday night’s feature races. The night’s main wins went to racers from nearby Oakley and Brentwood, but Pittsburg competitors were in the mix throughout the Hobby Stock, Sport Modified, and Micro Sprint events.
