The Contra Costa County-based fund focuses on high-achieving young women with financial need, many of them first-generation college students balancing work, family duties, and community service. 
• FIFA World Cup 2026: BART to Offer Increased Service, Security, Staffing, and Signage (contracosta.news) — BART is ramping up service, staffing, and late-night trains for this summer’s FIFA World Cup matches, and Pittsburg riders should note Pittsburg Center is one of the few stations without restrooms. Fans can expect longer trains, special post-midnight express service from Milpitas, free parking after 3 p.m. on weekdays, and easy tap-to-ride payment options across Bay Area transit.
