1,400+ Customers Without Power In Pleasant Hill

Outages possibly related to the heat were affecting thousands Monday evening in the East Bay and in the North Bay.

PLEASANT HILL, CA — Possible heat-related outages were affecting more than 1,400 customers Monday evening in Pleasant Hill. PG&E has crews on scene investigating the cause of 27 outages affecting 1,481 customers, according to the utility company's website.

Elsewhere in the East Bay, outages were affecting over 5,630 customers in Concord, over 2,200 in Walnut Creek and more than 500 in Orinda.

In the North Bay, at least 1,300 customers had no electricity in Benicia — an outage that a PG&E spokesperson told Patch may be related to the excessive heat Monday in Benicia and throughout much of the Bay Area.
