• Waymo Just Took a Crucial Step Toward Self-Driving Cars in the 925 Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — Pleasant Hill is now officially on Waymo's map for future paid, driverless rides, thanks to new state approval covering much of Contra Costa County and the Tri‑Valley. While there's no launch date yet, residents could soon see more Waymo cars mapping local streets as the company gradually prepares to roll out robotaxi service across the 925.
