• Waymo Just Took a Crucial Step Toward Self-Driving Cars in the 925 Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — Pleasant Hill is now officially on Waymo's map for future paid, driverless rides, thanks to new state approval covering much of Contra Costa County. You won't see robotaxis everywhere right away, but the company can now legally launch service here once it finishes mapping, testing, and safety preparations across local streets and freeways.
